Nigel Hall-Smith, a regular friendly face in the CRMC paddock for several decades urgently needs our help.

Let's give him a helping hand in his time of need
Help raise urgent funds for Nigel Hall-Smith
Nigel has been a member for about 30 years and has racked up countless awards and trophies, racing the same bike the whole time. He always gives his best and I have certainly had some great races with him over many years.

But he hasn't been feeling well recently. Thinking he had a bad cold, doctors sadly diagnosed that he is suffering from oesophageal cancer, which has already spread to his brain and is incurable. Palliative care is planned and Nigel is determined to fight and we all wish him the very best - he is tough and won't give up.

Nigel has helped the CRMC for many years - he is the helpful chap who collects the CRMC race programmes from the printer and brings them to every race meeting, for example. If you break down and he can help, he will. So it is our turn to help him if we can. He hasn't been able to work in recent weeks, so money is tight and the rent on his Fluff Racing and Engineering business premises is due. Nigel and wife Andye have enough to worry about, so their neighbour Claire has sent up a funding page so if any of you want to give them a helping hand and make a donation, it is quick and easy to do - please click on this link: https://www.gofundme.com/nigelandandye
The CRMC Benevolent Fund is also offering financial help to our good friend Nigel in his time of need.

One of the most admired and respected friends I ever had. We are both Triumph men through and through, Castrol R runs in our veins. Andye, if you are reading this and need anything whatsoever, please call me. I visited Nigel in Gravely last Saturday and told him to pass on this message. Great to see all the "FLUFF" photos on the wall.

Very sad to hear this news. It is a dreadful disease and a hard one to fight against. I wish Nigel and Andye all the best in Nigel's fight.
