CRMC at Classic Bike Live Show at Peterborough 29-30 October 2016

CRMC attends the first "Classic Bike Live Show" and the show team think it went well...did you go?
The Classic Bike Live show is a brand new event, which seems to have been well-supported in it's first year, featuring race stars John McGuiness and Mick Grant. The BMF used to organise the "Tail-End Show" around this time of year at the same venue until it sadly ceased in 2014.
The CRMC Show Team led by Ken Perch had a stand at the show:
"We were in a satellite hall some way from the main area and I had reservations as to whether the public would walk through the cafe to our hall. Fortunately it was well signed and en route to the trade stands. I was able to get well in with the organisers as a trader didn't turn up in our hall and I offered to fill his space with the free standing banners which were spare and a table with info on it.
The clientele for this show were different to the likes of Stafford and hopefully we have been able to introduce some different people to the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club. On a positive note Trevor Parkerson who used to race with the club has decided to sell his bike, a Honda CB350 K4 and wants it to go to a youngster who would like to get into racing. Not 5 minutes after he had left, Dorian Eardley who has paraded with us came by and was discussing starting racing having just bought a Yamaha FZ 600 to use until he can afford a 'race bike'. I have put him in touch with Trevor and hopefully we will see him out soon. "
Well done Ken and team, flying the CRMC flag!
