Unfortunately, in Race 4 of Saturday's program, a bike engine exploded in a dramatic way, dropping a lot of oil around Church bend. Marshals and circuit staff worked hard to clean up the oil, which was hampered by a wet track. After several hours work, the Clerk of the Course had to abandon racing for the day.

The revised schedule for Sunday's racing has been published below.
Anglesey circuit amended schedule for 10/09/2017
The track will be inspected on Sunday morning and assuming it is okay, we will finish the first part of the program up to Race 9 with all races being 5 laps and then run an amended schedule of 12-lap races for the rest of the day. This will mean that instead of the planned 4 x 5-lap races, everyone will have completed 1 x 5 lap race and had a longer 12 lap race, 17 laps in total instead of the planned 20 laps. The parade will also be extended and will run for 20 minutes.
