That’s It for 2014!

The final round of the CRMC championships and the

Race of the Year at Snetterton over the weekend of 11th

and 12th October wrapped up CRMC racing for 2014 -

and what a weekend it was!

The usual busy program of CRMC races at Snetterton produced superb racing and a massive crowd of spectators on both days. Jim Redman, 6 times World Champion and winner of 6 TT races and 45 Grand Prix victories was guest of honour and was able to shake hands with all the CRMC race and championship winners. Fans were treated to seeing Jim with a fabulous 297cc Honda 6, which was started up - what a sound! The Final Championship Results are available on the Results page For pictures please go to Sport Pics website

CRMC and the Joan Seeley Pain Relief Trust

Another job well done! Members of the CRMC have once again raised valuable funds for this worthwhile charity. The CRMC has once again been supporting the charity in 2014. Colin Seeley is the designer and builder of the Seeley chassis which has become so popular with Classic racers that Seeley bikes are the most numerous make of classic bike registered with the CRMC. Colin Seeley was presented with a cheque for £2,000, which was raised by the generous sidecar crews and their novel “taxi-rides” at CRMC Donington in August, when members of the public could get a chance to experience being a passenger in a racing sidecar!  Thanks to everyone involved, everyone had a great time and raised money for this worthwhile cause.
